Does hearing and/or using the word "NO" as a one word sentence make you sweat a little?

Does being told no make you feel rejected in some type of way?

Did you not realize it until I just asked??

I feel you babe.

I didn't know that I had such an adverse reaction to the word NO until it was reflected to me.

I had to go through a coaching exercise where someone shouted "NO!" at me until I stopped reacting took it.....it took three days y'all.

I had no idea how I attached rejection to the No's I was receiving in my life.

No, "I don't want to coach with you."
No, "I don't want to buy your book."
No, "I don't want to stay married."
No, "I don't want to go on a second date."
No, "You don't have enough money for that."
No, "You can't speak on our stage."

The really tricky part was people didn't say things this flat out and so I just had this weird friction going on in my body. No sounded more like,

"I can't imagine spending that much money on coaching."
"I've been meaning to get your book!"
"I made a mistake."
"I'll call you sometime."
"You application has been declined."
"We aren't currently looking for speakers at this time."

Words weren't matching the energy behind them. No matter how someone worded their message, I was hearing a big NO and it was causing so much anxiety within me.

I translated these well crafted phases into personal attacks on me and it was costing me all of my peace, self-worth, and courage.

I questioned everything. I questioned everyone. I questioned myself.

And then I decided to give that all up and I write about how I did it in my book Giving Up Giving Up: The Memoir of a Quitter.

I am ALSO talking all about it in this #15MinFillUp.

In this episode, I am sharing all the sneaky ways that NO stops us from being great in our lives.

I want to rip down that veil that hides NO for the sneaky little lie that it is so that you can go full throttle on your dreams, visions, and plans!

You deserve to know what NO is doing to your physical, mental, and emotional strength so you can take your power and life back!

Babe, you are WAY TO VALUABLE to let a few little NO's stop you from living a HELL YEAH kind of life and I am going to talk all about how to shift out of it in tomorrow's #15MinFIllUp.

You know I am here for you livin' your best HELL YEAH kinda life, so let's move all those little no's out of the way babay!
