Jaida Schupp
Author of Dancing Through Storms
Jaida Schupp was born and raised in eastern Iowa, where the fields stretch wide and the stories run deep.
A survivor, storyteller, and relentless truth-seeker, Jaida has spent her life healing from the wounds left by hands that were supposed to love her and turning that pain into purpose.
She lives with her husband of twenty-five plus years, Casey, and the steady hand through every season of life.
Together, they’ve raised two incredible children, Jordan and Gavin, who remain her greatest reasons to keep showing up and creating a better world.
By day, Jaida works at The History Center, preserving the past of the city she’s always called home.
By heart, she is a baker, an entrepreneur, a passionate animal lover, and a speaker who uses her voice to reach others who feel alone in their pain.
She wrote this book for those who were dealt more than they could bear. For those surviving what no one sees.
For every soul choosing to break the cycle and begin again. Her story is living proof that it’s possible.
