Welcome to the first episode of the Anxiety Series.

We are kicking this new series off with some insight to living with anxiety.
I am sharing a lot about what we will cover about this topic over the next handful of episodes and I take a moment to share a bit about my own journey of living with anxiety.

I have been managing anxiety since 2007 and helping hundreds of people with their own process for over 10 years now.

I helped so many people in one on one and group settings and it is finally time to bring it to you on the podcast.

If you are finally ready to get out of the crippling grip of anxiety, this episode is a great place to start.

I start this episode by sharing my anxiety about sharing the anxiety series.

So much of this series is about helping you live a life that is not completely ruled and dictated by your anxiety.

So I feel comfortable sharing that I have fears and concerns and do not let them stop me from living out my dreams.

I think so many stop themselves from taking aligned action because they think they need to 'have it all together' before starting.

In this episode, we are addressing where anxiety starts and how to begin identifying your own root causes.

This will help drastically as we move through the series to learn how to cope with and manage anxiety in empowering ways.

In this Coping with Anxiety episode, I am distinguishing the difference between coping with anxiety and anxiety management.

I am also sharing some effective coping skills and practices for helping to come down from an anxiety attack or how to regulate when you are experiencing high levels of anxiety.

I share a few of my favorite ways to navigate an emotional wave in this episode and also tools that work well for my clients too! If you find yourself trying, or maybe struggling, to cope with anxiety, this is a great episode for you.

In this episode of the anxiety series, I am offering insights to managing anxiety with a long term focus.

In the midst of an intense wave of anxiety, we want to feel better immediately. But when we take a more wholistic approach to managing our stressors and building emotional stability, we can alleviate anxiety in a way that keeps it dulled.

Beyond that, when we develop more stability and self regulation, we can start to feel stronger, more empowered, and even excited about life.

Tune into this episode to start exploring what long term healing looks and feels like.

I really loved recording this episode for you and your loved ones.

I hope you find this information helpful and simple enough to put into practice today in your relationships.

As someone with anxiety and as a person who supports many people with anxiety, I feel really confident in offering you an opportunity to create healthy communication, connection, and progress with those that you love and support.

Happy healing and helping.

I feel really excited to share this episode of the anxiety series to help people gain a better understanding of social anxiety.

I discuss both causes and management tactics that can help those who struggle and those who interact with people who deal with this character trait.

I hope that this episode will help you navigate your internal environment in a way that positively impacts your external interactions.

We can live a full life and feel connected beyond social anxiety and this episode can help you build the confidence to do so.

I am beyond honored to wrap up Season 6 with you in this final episode of the Anxiety Series.

I share as much as I know and can in this episode, including some of my own ADHD journey and how I learned to manage both my hyperactivity and heightened emotions throughout my life.

This is a chance to find out more about the long term effects of growing up with (un)diagnosed ADHD and how you can still live a fully functional life with it.

ADHD is a superpower and this episode will explain why and how. Dive in with me today!
